As a toddler, your child is learning so many new and exciting things. From the early stages of crawling, to those beginning steps, they have been experimenting and meeting new challenges daily. New social skills and emotions are developing during interaction with other children, resulting in a brand new phase of communication. Their activity level expands and their mobility strengthens to the next level of development.

Our Toddler program follows a daily lesson plan, in an effort to meet all your child's developmental needs. Learning lessons focus on building language, creativity, fine and gross motor skills and social interaction. A written Daily Report is given to update each family on curriculum involvement, meal times, nap times, toilet training and other daily activities. Rest assured that you will know what your toddler does each and every day!

Much of our toddler program is based on real-world sensory experiences. They spend much of the day singing, dancing, laughing, playing and exploring-indoors and out. They also begin to learn basic words and numbers, play simple games and develop relationships with each other.

Children at this age are terrific learners. They are beginning to understand group play and become better at communicating their thoughts. Our curriculum emphasizes language development to help children turn their ideas into words and sentences. Skills are presented in a logical, natural sequence to encourage step-by-step learning, and your child will have plenty of group activities to practice social skills, such as cooperation, sharing and taking turns. Our teachers listen and make sure that your child is happy and having fun while learning.

Our goal is for your toddler to mature into a preschooler ready, willing and able to take the next step toward positive and healthy development.

Language Development
* This is a critical time to develop vocabulary, so we devote many of our activities to linguistic skills.

Social Skills
* Daily group activities allow your child to practice cooperation, sharing and taking turns, and provide enjoyable opportunities for getting to know others.

Physical Development
* Our classrooms and equipment are designed for toddlers to safely explore as they play and improve coordination. Our outdoor play areas allow for nature study, climbing, sliding and riding.

Sensory Activities
* We have designed activities that involve the senses and use movement to engage your child and assist in brain development. Toddlers love to push buttons, turn pages, mold with clay and play in the sandbox.
